It's Rakion month this October

October has just passed the halfway mark, and you know what that means:

RAKION RAVE CHAOS PARTY* has ended!

But worry not, Rakion adiks. Today, October 16th, you'll be dipping your grubby little hands into Rakion's newest patch:

Just what is this new patch all about, you ask? Notice how the title is so similar to that movie with vampires and stuff? Well, that's where all the similarity ends. Nope, we're not springing vampires in this game, not anytime soon, at least. Find out why we'll have you playing from dusk till dawn in this three-part feature.

THE EVENTS FROM DUSK TILL DAWN

You know and I know that Golem War mode is the most played game in Rakion for the high XP yield. So what better way to make this game more exciting than a new event?

Enter: KILL THE GOLEM GM!

Events rounds will randomly appear after the 5th round. You'll know it's an event round when you see this message:

Scary, isn't it?

In the event round, the usually lonesome Golden Golem will be replaced by a Golden Golem with the face of a Softnyx GM and will be accompanied by six fearsome Longbows.

That is one fugly Golem

If you've been more of a support unit than an attacker, now is the time to start getting more aggressive! The player who deals the last killing blow on the Golem GM will receive a randomly generated item (HP, CP, Defense Up, Attack Power Up, Chaos Point 1Up). If you're really lucky, you might even get a piece of the much-vaunted Elemental Armor!

And if you do get the Elemental Helm, get ready for a surge of PMs after you see your name announced server-wide! You'll be faaa-mous!

Try to kill the Golem GM as soon as it appears; if it revives again during the event round, it will spawn as a normal Golden Golem.

Rakion's always been about limits, have you guys noticed? A limit on armor you can wear, room limits, level limits in stage games, even character sex limits (now who wants to see a FEMALE blacksmith? I know I do hahaha)!

This time we're lifting some limits on a FEW things like, say, Stage game levels and clearance. Yep, you read that right--it's time for a new event!

THE STAGE GAME LEVEL DELIMITER

The English is a bit wacky, but you get the idea

This event is as simple as the title says. But for the less astute among us, here's a short breakdown.

Stage games always have a level limit. But for the whole duration of this event (24 hours), players of all levels can play any stage game they want. Mobs and XP don't change, too.

The countdown begins from your first log-in, and you will be updated with how much time you have left through time trackers that will be visible in the channel window, game rooms and inside the games you play as well.

Don't worry, PvP adiks. Death Team and Death Solo game modes will also get their own event in CHAOS REBORN.

Watch out, that mage you were chasing just might turn Chaos!

In this event, players can get a chance to randomly (don't we just looove this word?) turn into Chaos mode regardless of how many Chaos points they have. So, say you only have 2 of 6 Chaos points, you can still get to be a Chaos berserker.

But as with normal Chaos mode, once you turn, your Chaos points if any will reset to 0.
